ESSENTIAL OILS
Anise EO: Best used in aromatherapy for Bronchitis, colds and flu - Anise oil opens bronchial pathways so you can breath again. Commonly used in aromatherapy for breathing difficulties - anise oil may have a good effect on asthma as a natural asthma remedy. Anise oil is also excellent fish bait and is commonly used by fisherman to attract trout. Pure Anise Oil is also noted as helpful for flatulence, impotence, painful periods, migraines and colic. The smell of Black Licorice. Do not use Anise Essential Oil if you are pregnant. Use caution if you have hypersensitive skin or skin problems. Avoid anise oil in endometriosis and estrogen-dependent cancers
Cedarwood EO: It has a soft, woody and "pencil-like" smell and has a faint undertone of sandalwood. Cedarwood oil benefits the skin by its sedating ability which relieves itching. Its astringent action is great for acne, oily skin, as well as for hair and dandruff. It has a calming and soothing effect on the mind and is of great help in conditions associated with anxiety and nervous tension. It is also of value in cases of arthritis and rheumatism.
Citronella EO: Refreshing, Grassy, Woodsy oil. Antiseptic, analgesic, stimulant properties. Used in insect repellent, rheumatic pain and stomach pains. Not to be used in pregnancy.
Clary Sage EO: The therapeutic properties of clary sage oil are antidepressant, anticonvulsive, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, astringent, bactericidal, carminative, deodorant, digestive, emmenagogue, euphoric, hypotensive, nervine, sedative, stomachic, uterine and nerve tonic. Clary sage is calming to the nervous system, particularly in cases of depression, stress, insomnia and deep seated tension. It furthermore is a good tonic for the womb and female functions in general, such as painful periods, scanty menstruation and relaxation during labor, thus encouraging a less painful birth. During menopause, clary sage oil can help reduce hot flushes, night sweats, palpitations, irritability, as well as headaches and dizziness. It is good for muscle pains, digestive disorders, kidney diseases and the cooling of inflammation of the skin. . Used in a cream or lotion, clary sage oil can be beneficial for skin problems, back pain and a stiff neck, as well as for body odors, PMS, skin problems and cramps. It is particularly good for balancing the production of sebum of the skin and to clear greasy complexions.
Eucalyptus EO: Balancing and stimulating Essential Oil. Camphorous and Woody scent. Analgesic, Anti-inflammatory, Antiseptic, Antiviral, Stimulant properties. Many aromatherapy uses, including Air disinfectant, respiratory ailments, burns, cuts, headaches, sinusitis and congestion, muscle aches. Eucalyptus should not be used if you have high blood pressure or epilepsy and can be fatal if ingested.
Geranium EO: Comforting, healing essential oil. Floral, sweet, earthy scent, almost like roses. Has antifungal, antiseptic, antispasmodic and diuretic properties. Uses include burns, eczema, edema, fluid retention, neuralgia, PMS (including swollen breasts), tonsillitis. May irritate sensitive skin. Avoid in pregnancy.
Grapefruit Essential Oil: Energizing and Uplifting. Antiseptic, Astringent, Diuretic, Stimulant properties. Used in anxiety, depression, digestive problems and water retention. Causes skin photosensitivity, so do not use when exposed to sunlight or tanning beds.
Juniper Berries EO: Aphrodisiac and stimulant properties. Crisp, woody, sweet, earthy, with almost a hidden fruity note. Possible uses include: Colds, flu, acne, cellulitis, gout, hemorrhoids, obesity, rheumatism, toxin build-up. Avoid during pregnancy and those with kidney problems.
Lavender: Calming, therapeutic essential oil. Scent is floral, sweet, woody and herbal. Has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, diuretic, and sedative properties. Also insecticide properties. Used in acne, anxiety, bronchitis, dandruff, eczema, headaches, muscle aches and pains, insomnia, PMS, Psoriasis, Sinusitis, skin problems, sunburn, tension, wounds and sores. Do not use early in pregnancy. Use caution with low blood pressure.
Lavender and Chamomile: Essential Oil Blend of Lavender and Chamomile; soothing and calming. Chamomile is a calming and soothing essential oil also. Scent is sweet, herbal and fruity. Has analgesic, antibacterial, antiseptic and digestive stimulant properties. Used in acne, blisters, boils, depression, digestive problems, gout, headaches, indigestion, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Anxiety, Fear, and skin conditions. Do not use in early pregnancy.
Lemon: Refreshing, stimulating essential oil. Fresh, sharp citrus scent. Has antiseptic, astringent, antiviral, and stimulant properties. Used in cold sores, constipation, headache, insect bites, migraine, sinusitis, sore throat, varicose veins. Can cause photosensitivity in sunlight and tanning beds.
Lemongrass EO: Refreshing, toning essential oil. Sweet, citrus scent. Has antidepressant, antiseptic, diuretic properties. Used in fatigue, colic, indigestion, muscle aches and pains, stimulating appetite and for stress.
Lime EO: Historically lime oil was used as a remedy for dyspepsia. The oil obtained by expression from the peel is considered phototoxic (reactive to sunlight) and should not be used in topical aromatherapy. The traditional aromatherapy uses are similar to that of lemon oil, namely fever, colds, sore throats, and infections. The oil has strong antiseptic, antiviral, and bactericidal compounds.
Litsea Cubeba EO: Also called May Chang. Blended into a light carrier oil or in a bath, Litsea is often recommended to treat acne, dermatitis and greasy skin. Please use with extreme caution and very light dilutions on broken or troubled skin. Useful in treating excessive perspiration. Litsea is widely used in the perfume and soap industries, providing a lemon-scented base note, often used to "anchor" the scents of the true citrus top notes that are far too fleeting.

Patchouli EO: Patchouli Oil is known as sensual, romantic, natural aphrodisiac - most people either love the aroma or simply hate it. Aroma therapists utilize Patchouli Oil in skin care blends as this essential oil contains ketones which benefit skin regeneration, wound healing and congested skin on a cellular level. This oil is one of the best essential oils for skin care. Dark Patchouli Oil is best used in a highly diluted form for topical applications and in short durations. Patchouli Oil is a very centering, grounding and healing oil that works well in meditation and spiritual blends. Aroma therapists note antifungal and antibacterial properties with Patchouli Oil, and the oil is often used in cosmetics for fungal infections, bacterial infections, ringworm, athlete's foot and dermatitis
Peppermint: Stimulating, refreshing essential oil. Antiseptic, analgesic, antispasmodic, decongestant, expectorant properties. Used in asthma, headaches, migraine, sore and tired feet, nausea, insect repellent. This is natural peppermint EO, with essence of herbal mint. Not advised in pregnancy.
Rosemary EO: Refreshing, stimulating essential oil. Refreshing, woody, herbal scent. Analgesic, antidepressant, antirheumatic, decongestant, diuretic, stimulant properties. Used in burns, colds, fatigue, flu, gout, oily skin, water retention, wounds.
Rosemary and Peppermint: Essential Oil Blend of Anise, Ginger, Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint, Spearmint.
Sage EO: Sage oil has a sharp, herbal smell. The therapeutic properties of sage oil are anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiseptic, astringent. Sage oil also stimulates the lymphatic system and thereby boost glandular function while it also has value to treat dermatitis, atonic wounds, sores, ulcers, as well as insect bites and reducing large pores. On the muscular system it can be used to ease stiff muscles and particularly fibrositis and torticollis (stiff neck) and eases trembling and palsy. Sage is a powerful oil and should be used with care. It is classified as an oral toxin and should be used with great care in aromatherapy. "Yes I got my order and I LOVED it! I bought the cool water for men body butter for Suresh...his skin gets extremely dry and grayish and when we use lotion on it it just evaporates too quickly so I am hoping the body butter will last a bit longer...he likes the scent as well which is a HUGE score in your favor because he is VERY picky about the scents of his products.
I dont know if you want feedback or not but the only thing negative that I have to say is that the cool water for men scent is a little too strong for my taste...but take that with good grace because its meant to be helpful not hurtful.
I am REALLY hoping that you are going to do something like a "build your own basket" for Christmas...I would LOVE to order some gifts for Christmas from you and I love when girly stuff comes in a basket. (just a thought) I LOVE your product and feel so good about them that I would happily give them out to family and co-workers as gifts.

When I started expanding my product line, one of the first things my dad said was to carry some emu oil products. Raved and raved about emu oil and all its benefits! I, being half optimist and half skeptic, needed to do some research for myself and have found a lot of information and claims about the benefits of using Emu Oil topically for multiple issues and afflictions! *** The skeptic in me cannot believe Emu oil can relieve all of these symptoms all of the time, but the optimist in me says: In combination with other ingredients that also have many wonderful benefits...it is worth a try!!***

Title: All About Emu Balm!
I have finally taken a leap!! Have ventured into the realm of adding a product that contains Emu Oil to my product line!! It is called "Soothing Emu Balm" and is a wonderful combination of Shea Butter, Aloe, Emu Oil, Menthol, and Lavender and Chamomile Essential Oils! Smells Wonderful (not too much like "Ben Gay", because the Lavender and Chamomile cuts the menthol smell down a bit!). But after doing quite a bit of reading about Emu Oil and the claims that are being made about its healing, soothing and moistuizing nature, I had to try some.....and my dad was egging me on to try it, too!! I have had the Emu Oil sitting in my "Lab" unused for a couple of months now, as it is quite expensive and didn't just want to "throw it into a lotion" and sell it. I wanted to combine it in a way to try to get maximum benefits from all of the ingredients! And voila! Emu Balm has been born!!
It will be debuting this weekend at Ethnicfest in Two Rivers! I have only made a handful of 4oz jars to take with me, but can easily be made for any online orders!!
I have found some Emu products available online for exhorbitant prices($15 and up!), and it is ridiculous! My balm has approximately 12% Emu Oil and a 4 ounce Jar will sell for $13.00. A little goes a long way with this product!
Just apply a small amount to desired area and rub in. Use as needed!
